Great music from the state of Bremen deserves to be heard! Releases are the first step to building an audience, getting attention, and moving forward. And because a vibrant independent scene needs exactly these kinds of opportunities, POP Office is now supporting you with just that!
Our RELEASEfonds helps musicians from the state of Bremen release their music – whether it’s a single, EP, or album. Because we know: no release means no reach, no reach means no gigs, and no gigs means no further steps toward professionalization.
The fund is aimed at newcomers and semi-professionals from the independent pop music scene in the state of Bremen. In other words, everyone who wants to push their project forward, is already working on their own music, and wants to take the next step – but doesn’t (yet) have the means to handle everything alone.
What do you get?
Straightforward micro-funding that provides concrete help for your release – tiered according to the scope of your project. Whether it’s your first track or a larger release: the fund is designed to enable you to publish your music professionally and make it visible.
The selection is made by a jury – you apply with your project, and we take care of the rest – without unnecessary hurdles.

Applications must be received by POP Office Bremen, Am Wall 146, with a handwritten signature by May 17, 2026. The mailbox is around the corner, at the Herdentorswallstr entrance. 28.
