Dearest favorite scene, what a year it has been! Here's a quick recap of what was happening at POP Office Bremen in 2025, and a sneak peek into 2026. Let's go!

We will be out of the office from December 19, 2025, through January 5, 2026. Of course, your emails and DMs will still reach us and will be read by us in January.

Together with the Senator for Culture, we were able to award the first POP SCHOLARSHIP to musicians from Bremen. Due to the numerous and high-quality applications, our jury had a really tough job, but now the two winners have been determined.

In this POPup MEETup, Saskia Rienth will be a guest, who has dedicated herself entirely to the topic of Artist Identity. She will show you ways how you as musicians can communicate consciously and harmoniously to the outside world and become visible without losing yourself. Afterwards, we will hear the enchanting newcomer Coucou live in the showcase.

On 11/15/25, we invite you to the Music Meet Up 2025 — the music conference for the local music scene in the state of Bremen. We are planning an exciting program with lots of pop-cultural and political discourse, helpful workshops, lectures, and networking opportunities, and of course music from the best state in the world. At the Music Meet Up, musicians, DJs, producers, label people, event organizers, music journalists and enthusiasts, as well as politicians and promoters come together to understand, discuss, advance, and celebrate the local scene together.

At the Reeperbahn Festival, current pop culture topics and up-and-coming musicians meet some of the most important players in the global music industry. With the combined power of VUT Nord, POP Office Bremen, popNDS, PopKW and Popnet.sh, the North German funding networks are also a part of this, offering artists from our regions a platform.

In the video: For the third time, the POP Office Bremen smuggled five acts from Bremen into the Breminale! In 2025, Traumatin, Queenwho, Teddies Kneipe, Below Zero, and Friends_28 represented the POP Office on stage.
