On September 12, 2026 from 1:00 PM, we’re inviting you to the Kulturzentrum Lagerhaus for MUSIC MEET UP 2026. MUSIC MEET UP is the music conference for the local music scene in the state of Bremen. Expect an exciting programme with plenty of pop-cultural and political discussion, helpful workshops, think tanks, talks and networking opportunities—and of course fantastic music from the best state in the world.

Artist Development is Teamwork – How the Music Industry and Pop Music Funding Work Together
Developing artists requires good teamwork with labels, management, distribution, publishers, funding institutions, and networks. Each brings their own skills and perspectives that meaningfully complement each other. The panel discusses how collaboration can succeed, where synergies emerge, and how a strong support ecosystem for artists can be further developed together. A panel by VUT Nord in cooperation with POP Office Bremen e.V, Musikland Niedersachsen, popnetSH, and popKW.

Outer Ear focuses on projects that explore new ways of engaging and involving audiences. The aim is to specifically support participatory projects that put the creation process of a work—not the finished piece—at the centre. Experimentation, openness, the unfinished, and shared experiences are deliberately made visible and audible to create new ways into contemporary music and enable participation as well as temporary communities.
