Discussion Round
Inclusion in the Music Scene
Inclusion in the music scene – where do we really stand? Organizers, musicians, and representatives of inclusive initiatives talk about barriers, practical solutions, and the question: What pathways to the stage can we create for musicians with disabilities?
Panel speakers:
- Katinka Deuster (Krake Festival, Ick Mach Welle, KILLEKILL)
- Nadine Jahns (Musician from Berlin)
- Frank Schurgast (InklusionNord, Inclusion Officer for Bremen-Nord)
- Arne Frankenstein (The State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities)
- Manuel Jänig (Ischa Barrierefrei, Musikszene Bremen).
The conversation will be moderated by Tonia Sperling.
Julio Lovetrain

The cult band from Leverkusen initially formed as a pure wedding band. Meanwhile, the three Schlager musicians have expanded their target audience and are generating nationwide
enthusiasm. At the beginning of their career, they set the bar high with the hit song “Einbahnstraße Glück,” but were able to achieve further success with “Leverkusener Nächte.” More explosive titles followed, and the band is now popularly known as the “Leverkusen Hit Machine.” Musically, Julio Lovetrain moves between the genres of Schlager and Neue Deutsche Welle. Sometimes romantic, often lively! Get your dancing shoes out of the closet and experience Julio Lovetrain live on stage!
RaTangle

The four-piece band from Bremen offers a mix of grunge, punk, and alternative rock. With explosive lyrics and melancholic melodies, the group, formed in 2022, captures feelings of frustration, anger, and hope while growing up in a broken society.
Collaboration
The event is a cooperation between POP Office Bremen and Martinsclub. The concerts are supported by Aktion Mensch.
