Gwen Wayne has been a DJ and booker at various clubs with her own agency for 14 years. Gwen’s beginnings started in Bremen, then Berlin and Hamburg and now she is back in Bremen. Her focus in bookings is clearly on gender diversity she advocates lineups with many FLINTA DJs. Gwen even turns down a gig when she is only requested as a so-called “quota woman”, because in her opinion the club scene is automatically political and it is important to set an example here. Through her previous work she knows a lot about DJing, socializing in the scene, booking, event planning and cost calculation. In other words: organization in the scene with everything that goes with it.
