Together with the Senator for Culture, we were able to award the first POP SCHOLARSHIP to musicians from Bremen. Due to the numerous and high-quality applications, our jury had a really tough job, but now Sibb and PLH have been selected as the two winners. Congratulations and a big thank you to all the other applicants and the great jury members FINNA, Johanna Bauhus from Ladies&Lady Label, our 1st Chairman Gregor Henning from Studio Nord and Chris Richter from the Senator for Culture.
We are more than happy about the great response to the project and are currently planning the next round of the POP SCHOLARSHIP in 2026 with the Senator for Culture. Stay tuned!

Sibb is a singer and songwriter of pop, dance and soul music from Bremen. Known for his sonorous voice and charismatic stage presence, he writes music with the aim of making listeners think about their relationship to life and their connections with the people around them. He presents his art at a very professional level, while at the same time offering a very entertaining and enjoyable concert experience.

PLH is a rapper from Bremen and a formative voice in the German rap underground. In 2018 she released her debut album “Eingangsbereich”. With DJ Jiyan, she developed energetic live shows that combine boom-bap beats with modern rap elements, live scratches and pure stage presence. After moving to Bremen in 2020, PLH expanded her network, released her album “So nämlich” in 2022 on her own label and played at festivals such as Fusion and Reeperbahn Festival. Media such as Backspin, laut.de and Musikexpress reported about her – her reach and visibility in the scene grew significantly. PLH combines anger, wit and old-school energy with modern sounds and shows that creativity, toughness and femininity belong together in rap. Her album “PLH” (July 2025) demonstrates her artistic development, expands her sound palette and solidifies her position in the Bremen and national hip-hop scene. On stage, she brings energy and vision to the table without compromise, making every concert a direct, captivating experience.
