Andrea Rothaug is the managing director of RockCity Hamburg e.V. – Zentrum für Popularmusik, former Commissioner for Music and Pop Culture Bremen, initiator and co-founder of various music associations, such as POP Office Bremen, Music Women* Germany, Bundesverband Popularmusik, Clubkombinat Hamburg e.V., Hamburg Music, the first local music store Hanseplatte – Musik von hier, the Hamburg Music Awards KRACH+GETÖSE, Hamburg Hoch 11 – platform for artists and creatives in Hamburg, as well as founder of the female music Networks musicHHwomen and the festival for musical future issues OPERATION TON, among others. As a strategy and project developer, lobbyist for change in music, curator, mentor (including Deutscher Kulturrat / Rudolf Augstein Stiftung), copywriter, owner of the Institute for Professional Reality and book author, she is also a guest lecturer at various universities and enriches cultural policy and the music industry as a certified Artist & Business Coach.
