Our support is built on three pillars: funding (LIVEFonds<\/a>), networking (showcases and info events), and education\/knowledge (workshops and expert pool<\/a>). Many musicians\u2014especially newcomers and semi-professionals\u2014lack a label or management. As a result, they often have to handle tasks like accounting, marketing, logistics, or mixing on their own. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The POP Office Bremen association was founded by its first board members in April 2022. The concept was developed at the initiative of Bremen’s Senator for Economics, Ports, and Transformation (formerly the Senator for Economics, Labor, and Europe). The content was overseen by Andrea Rothaug, Managing Director of RockCity Hamburg. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

As a member, you can actively help shape POP Office Bremen and support the entire Bremen music scene with your membership fee. Regular membership grants you full participation in and influence over the association’s activities, in accordance with the statutes of POP Office Bremen e.V., including all rights and responsibilities of a full member. With a membership fee of \u20ac60 per year you become a regular member. A supporting membership serves as an ongoing donation to the association and allows participation in its activities without voting rights. It is open to individuals who do not qualify for regular membership under the statutes\u2014such as minors, amateur musicians, non-residents of Bremen, or those without direct ties to the local music scene. The minimum annual fee for supporting membership is \u20ac30. And by the way: Your membership fee is 100% tax-deductible! <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

As a non-profit association, the POP Office Bremen is funded through membership fees and support from the Senator for Economics, Ports, and Transformation of the State of Bremen. Additionally, individual projects have been made possible with federal funding from Initiative Musik and the Bremen Senator for Culture. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
